The EVO ICL is a biocompatible lens placed between your iris and natural lens via ultra-small corneal incisions. This differs from LASIK in that there is no corneal tissue removed from the eye to reshape the cornea. This procedure is ideal for patients who have moderate to severe nearsightedness with or without astigmatism, thin corneas, large pupils or persistent dry eye.

The EVO ICL procedure is a quick outpatient procedure performed by Dr. Nunnery in our office. Patients typically do not experience any discomfort thanks to topical and/or local anesthetic.
After your eyes have been numbed, your eye surgeon will create a small incision in your cornea, and insert the EVO ICL. Once they ensure it is properly positioned, the procedure is complete.
Most patients notice visual improvements right away, and can get back to their regular routine after just one to two days.
